DCC Welcomes a New Teacher, Mr. Bear

Posted on Sunday, March 10th, 2013 at 11:06 pm

Hi Mrs. Crosby!

I had a great day today traveling to DCC 7th grade science class with William’s Mom, Mrs. McReynolds! She provides quality instruction to the 7th grade students here at DCC, which is located in the suburbs.

She interacts with her fellow science teachers on a daily basis to insure all 7th grade students are getting the same information. She also works with other teachers in other subject areas to make connections between the classes! We need teachers who care to make sure our youth is in good hands every day. Without teachers our world would be crazy. Can you imagine what would happen if we did not have schools for children to learn?

My favorite part of the day was getting to see all the students participate in fun nervous system labs and I also got to go pick up buffalo eyes for their upcoming dissection! I had a great time today in the classroom. The students in Mrs. McReynolds class were awesome and loved taking pictures with me.

Until next time,

Mr. Bear
